Caring Dads
The Caring Dads programme helps fathers who have been, or are at risk of being domestically abusive or violent

Helping fathers build better relationships with children and co-parents.
Caring Dads not only helps men recognise the effects of domestic abuse on their children, but also provides them with positive and concrete ways to become a more responsible parent.
The programme provides powerful incentives for men to recognise, without being lectured or shamed.
A wide-ranging service that’s designed to make a difference
The Caring Dads course utilises CBT-based interventions, video work and role play that attempt to give fathers the skills and knowledge needed to change their thinking, and thus their actions, that may have been abusive in the past.
The programme looks at how individuals’ lives have developed, and how their attitudes and beliefs are formed and influenced by their own upbringing.
It emphasises strengths and learning opportunities rather than deficits – encouraging what the client does well rather than what is wrong.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss the Caring Dads programme further.
