Corporate Charity Partnerships
A corporate partnership can bring invaluable benefits to Iceni, your business and society as a whole.
2018/19, it cost us a little over £1,000 to support one family for a year. The cost of placing one child into care is around £100,000.
Together we are stronger
When your organisation partners with Iceni, it is making a true commitment to its workforce, local families and the community. The Iceni ‘ACTIVE’ partnership programme is a collaborative initiative which:
- Forms long-term meaningful relationships
- Supports workforces
- Aligns itself to meet corporate objectives
We help families thrive
Through a programme of therapy, counselling, parenting support and debt management advice, Iceni was able to help former nurse Kirsty Young out of addiction and keep her family together.
Why get involved?
The workplace is a reflection of the local community. And because drug, alcohol and domestic abuse are significant social problems, they are workplace issues too.
The stats on addiction and abuse
Of young workers (aged 16-29) and 40% of workers under 40 have experimented with illegal drugs.
People are addicted to prescription and over-the-counter drugs in the UK. Many of these drugs can have a significant effect on performance, concentration or alertness.
It is estimated that between 3% and 5% of all absences – up to 17 million working days – are lost each year due to alcohol.
Sickness absence due to alcohol is estimated to cost the UK economy over £7.3 billion a year.
One in four women and one in six men will suffer domestic abuse in their lifetime.
Two women every week and one man every month in the UK are killed by a partner or ex-partner.
